Fall, Winter, and Holidays

At the end of October, we went to the Barton's Halloween Bash and ate, had a costume party, and sat by the bonfire.

Halloween was on a Wednesday, which was a little strange, but we had fun anyway.  Some friends came over for some chili and then we walked around the neighborhood, trick or treating.
Ninja, Alice in Wonderland, Pippy Long-stockings and a Punk

Fall fun with the boys and Pepper.

Layla turned 10!  Her and six friends went to the movies and then had a sleepover.

Thanksgiving Day we went to my cousins house and had lots of fun with the cousins.

My mom wanted a photo of dad and her...

then he dumped her out of the wheel barrow.  It was so funny and caught everybody by surprise.

I went on Dylan's 1st grade field trip to Petit Jean Mtn. and the colors were beautiful (and my sweet girl is always beautiful).

The older three kids went with Nana and Papa on a hike in Ben Hur, during deer season (wearing their safety orange).

Layla was in the spelling bee and had her first cheer competition of the season in December.

On Christmas morning, we had lots of fun opening presents and getting ready for the visitors.

First, my mom and dad, and my sister and her family came and we opened presents.  Then the rest of my family came, cousins and uncles and more cousins.  We had a house full.  It started snowing and everyone started getting antsy.  We ate and opened presents in record time.  The house was empty within 2 hours.  We went out and played in the snow and then had a quiet Christmas night.

A few days after Christmas we drove up to Branson for the weekend.  We explored the Bass Pro Shop, swam in the hotel pool, looked at the Christmas lights, and did some shopping.

We have had another blessed year of crazy fun!
